Share Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Google Plus Email Manitoba HIV-STBBI Collective Impact Network About this Initiative Year Started: 2016 Social issue: Health and Nutrition Initiative stage: Implementing and Sustaining Impact Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Prairie & Northern Region (AB, SK, MB, YT, NT, NU) Initiative Purpose and Goals: Our vision is to eliminate HIV-STBBI’s as a public health threat by 2030 and to ensure that all those with the long-term effects of HIV live well in Manitoba Our Mission: We are a network of innovators working collaboratively to transform the landscape of HIV-STBBI in Manitoba Population level results: -90% of all people living with HIV will know their HIV status. -90% of all people with diagnosed HIV infection will receive sustained antiretroviral therapy. 90% of all people receiving antiretroviral therapy will have viral suppression. Collective Impact Elements in Place Common Agenda Continuous Communication Shared Measurement Backbone Support Mutually Reinforcing Activities Backbone Support Organizations serving in the Backbone Role Nine Circles Community Health Centre Backbone structure Nine Circles Community Health Centre receives the core backbone funding for the Network. It hires the Co-Strategic Facilitators, manages the Network. Initiative Activities and Milestones Activities Innovative Indigenous culturally responsive testing, linkage and care strategies Innovative changes to current provincial systems for testing, linkage and care strategies Innovative anti-stigma strategies Community Engagement and Advancing Equity Community Engagement Activities - embedded participation in key projects including design, evaluation, KTE - PEER researchers and evaluators Activities to Advance Equity - One of our key areas of focus in on Indigenous communities with an emphasis in 2020 on Northern remote First Nations Communites.
